Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls" LIVE in KL Part 1

Hey, people! I'm back! Sorry for the lack of updates. Guess you have been waiting for the post about Sean Kingston LIVE in KL, huh? Well, wait no more! 'Cos I'm gonna blog about it now I'm gonna break it into a few parts.

We got up feeling excited on the day of the concert. We were lucky to have free accommodation to stay during our trip in KL (we were staying at my relative's place), and a free ride provided by Tifanny's cousin to KL Sentral, which made it a lot easier for us to travel to Bukit Bintang because we were not very familiar with the routes there.

We bought our LRT tickets, got on the LRT to Bukit Bintang, and there we went! Surprisingly, there were only a few passengers in the compartment we went into. At lunch hour, I expected the public transport to be packed like sardin can. As the LRT travelled further down the lane, more and more passengers started to flock in at every stop, making the compartment feel compressed and there wasn't much space to stand. It took us less than half an hour to reach our destination and I was glad that we could manage to squeeze our way out of the crowded transport.

We were hungry and didn't know what to have for lunch. I suggested Japanese food because I had been craving for it. But Sungai Wang Plaza, which was our first stop, didn't seem to have any Japanese restaurant in sight. So, we went to the information kiosk and the man behind the counter told us that there were Teppanyaki and Sushi Station.

We tried our lucky, and went into the first one we saw. But, we weren't so lucky as I thought after all. The first one we spotted was Teppanyaki, and without second thought we went in. Upon seeing the not-so-empty restaurant, I thought the food should be ok. We took our seats and looked at the old and simple menu that the waiter handed to us. The choices were little and the pictures attached didn't seem appealing too. For a moment, I wanted to just got up and leave but I'm not kind of person who would ever do that.

As appetizer, we had Chawan Mushi. Smooth and silky but it had a strong eggy taste, which I found unpleasant.

Tifanny had Beef Teppanyaki.

I went for Chicken Teppanyaki. The chicken was quite oily but I found the beansprouts very juicy and crunchy.

After lunch, we met up with my youngest uncle, Derik, who then brought us to the newly opened shopping mall in KL-Pavilion. The exterior was magnificent, and it looked sophisticated.

Inside Pavilion.

This fine-looking building can house 450 outlets. For me, Pavilion is a very high-class place to shop because most of the outlets are selling branded goods. There are also nice restaurants and cafes to be found, a cinema, a fish spa centre, and many more.

The main centrum of Pavilion.

It was still early till the concert started. So, Derik suggested to have afternoon tea at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng. It was the most fantastic Wong Kok outlet I'd been to. I scanned the place with a feeling of awe. There were a few sections, where different types of furnitures were neatly arranged.

We took a seat right next to the full-length window, which revealed the beautiful view of KL on a lazy afternoon. KLCC Twin Tower could be seen clearly from where we sat. The exquisite towers stood high and proud amongst other hotels and malls in the heart of the city.

Derik ordered something light and refreshing to drink - Iced Lemon Tea.

Next to arrive was Tifanny's Passionfruit Iced Tea. Every one of us stared at the huge bottle with eyes wide open and our jaws dropped. We'd never seen drinks to be served in such BIG container. LOL With the right amount of passionfruit juice infused in the tea, it was thirst-quenching, and refreshing. But it needed at least two persons to finish the whole bottle.

As a chocolate and coffee lover, I searched for something with 'chocolate' and 'coffee' on the menu. After pondering over the menu that had a wide variety of choices, I finally went for Chocolate Milkshake even though I just had GJ's Original Iced Chocolate about an hour before we visited Wong Kok.

Came in a huge jar was thick chocolate milkshake, with a big scoop of chocolate ice-cream afloat, and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It's so chocolaty! But, I couldn't finish it due to the heaviness after consuming so much chocolate in a couple of hours.

Derik ordered Chocolate Fondue to share. Accompanied with a little pot of melting chocolate were toasted bread, apples and bananas. Pour the warm milk into the chocolate chips, you'd get a nice smooth chocolate fudge that is ready to coat the bite-size snacks.

Me and Tifanny.
